Big Farmer’s debut album, Agricultural Appropriation, was recorded over two days in September 2022. This tested the limits of their already limited musicianship, but they like to believe that, like diamonds, the most precious items are forged under great pressure. The album represents a subtle shift towards a more punk-influenced sound, although the band remains true to its pop heritage (but to clarify, the album is DEFINITELY not pop punk). Agricultural Appropriation will be released on August 28th and Big Farmer will be playing at The Gem on September 9th to celebrate its release. Big Farmer would like to shoutout Erik Scerba for recording, mixing and mastering the album with a level of expertise and wisdom they sincerely lacked, and Selena Repanis for designing the album artwork.
